The Freeport Area of Bataan (FAB) is set to become a blockchain hub in Asia, thanks to the Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan (AFAB) and its relentless pursuit of new investors in this cutting-edge technology.

One of the latest investors to join the FAB is BOM Group Corp., a company that specializes in blockchain solutions.

The group officially expressed their interest to become a FAB Registered Enterprise during a meeting with AFAB Administrator Emmanuel Pineda last April 11, 2023.

BOM Group will partner with GICC-Impero OBFTS Group, a leading provider of blockchain services, to activate their agreement and start their operations in the FAB.

Business analysts said this is a huge milestone for the FAB which is reportedly poised to become a hotspot for blockchain technology and fintech businesses, attracting more local and foreign investors and creating more jobs and opportunities for the people of Bataan.
